Andrew Bickerton

Andrew Bickerton is a retired English and Drama teacher living in Norfolk. He has written and directed numerous theatre productions and is passionate about biodiversity and the environment. His large garden is a home for nature with many mature trees and a wildflower meadow.

He has written and published four children’s books, all of which focus on nature and aim to raise awareness of the vital roles played by the commonplace things and creatures around us. Each book is groundedin scientific fact and contains a follow-up section containing relevant explanation and suggestions for activities for children to do.

With some of my pupils on retirement. LEAF read to children at local primary school. In my garden and on the well near my home.
